National Honor society
National Honor Society, while a nationally recognized organization, cannot ensure perfection among all of its chapters. At my high school, the organization began to receive complaints of their practices of admission and leadership. In the article below, I expose the harmful practices of the society. In addition, I suggest the lack of a necessity for the organization, as students are able to find plenty of service opportunities elsewhere. Any program, while reputable, can gradually lose contact with its moral foundation.
Election opinion
After the election, each of our staff members was asked to express their thoughts and opinions on the election. In my column (far right), I discuss the implications of the electoral college and its placement in American politics.
